Who’d have thought being called a geek would become a complement in some circles – but it has. Replacing the word “nerd”, ‘Geek’ has come to represent the nom de plume – yes the pen name – of those early adopters of new media. It’s a little fitting then that Geeks have the opportunity to don geek-wear, screw the pen holders and the mobile-phone belt pouches, geeks are cool and now even Threadless, the most kick ass clothing has paid homage to the Geek.
